After year One

Hey hey - Happy celebration!

A year ago , 21st of may, I started this blog. Surprisingly, it didn’t die after the first month.

Current status

But instead: 32 Posts of super quality in a single year- never seen before content. The reader count is exploding and I’m getting famous.

Ahhh - no.

That’s far from reality on a medium which is overrun by social media and nearly often stated to be dead. I didn't do much advertisment for it - my blog is exactly what it is meant to be.

A diary for storing my thoughts and processes of past projects. With a reader - or accidental click - every once in a while.

And the most motivating aspect? Self reflection!

Every post helps to think again about: what has gone wrong in a project, what suprisingly well, where would I start things different and what was expecially challenging?

I'd probably never had done that without forcing myself to write.

Future plans

Don't be suprised - but there are not really plans. I'm generally not good at planning more than 3 days ahead. 

Of course there are many projects left from the past to document. 2022 and 2024 have some gaps and 2025 is not even started. 

Also I might document a bit more on theory stuff? Every once in a while I understand something new that might be nice, or even some more detailed book reviews?

My main Idea floating around is to create some "Fact Sheets" for projects that involve building: A page without wafling but all info on materials and manufacturers. 

We'll see - and let's see if I keep that pace on year 2. I accept bets.
